More info.....European Doberman Pinschers are held at a higher breeding standard than the American Doberman. They are not allowed to breed unless they meet the breed standard of conformation, pass hip examinations, pass a temperament test, and at least one parent has to have a working title such as a Schutzhund title. These dogs are larger and more heavily boned than their American counterparts. They are very protective, loyal and intelligent and make great family dogs as well.
